So Kristap, Sasha, Jennings and Rose are already practicing together... And Noah will soon join.
I found this info important and the role that Sasha heaving to connect KP with new point guards is hugely important. Looks like Sasha will stick with the Knicks as long as Phil is around for sure in various capacities. Looks like Phil is working diligently to create the best possible environment for KP development. Rose looks very relaxed and very much in his element. We have a big group of vets now who can became a leaders on this team... This will be interesting to see who will became as inspiration. He had that shell shocked look when the trade happened. Here he looks happy and relaxed and like he's made the mental shift to his new reality. Phil did a good job with this roster in terms of guys knowing and being comfortable with each other. Also guys from New York or big cities. Not to mention having vets who know what to do. Rose mentioned that he wants to be more efficient. |

For what its worth, Greg Anthony agrees with Rose.
http://dailyknicks.com/2016/08/22/knicks-greg-anthony-thinks-ny-can-reach-conference-finals/ Conceptually, this team, defensively, they can create some problems. I don’t think that Carmelo [Anthony] has played with more talent in his tenure with the Knicks. I think they can get to the Conference Finals. I truly believe that this group can get there. Again, a lot has to go right. But I think the season is long enough, and if they’re healthy enough, they can work through chemistry. They’ve got a lot of guys who are motivated to prove people wrong." Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!
