Would you seriously expect Isiah to say otherwise? But in the unlikely event that Isiah is ever offered a better player for him, he would trade him in a heartbeat (as he should).

Trade Marbury if you can get Lebron, Duncan, or Garnett; otherwise Marbury's untouchable. A few other players may be more talented too, but PG is the most important position (or arguably is tied with C)

I think Starbury is untouchable because of what he means to the organization right now. This team was going nowhere fast. If we do well next year, if the excitement keeps growing, if we start winning more games and becoming a contender, the Starbury move is what made it happen. He's a NY guard, a hometown hero. He's going to represent (whether it's true or not) what the NY Knicks are going to be for the next coming 3-4 years. He will play his heart out for this team and Isiah, and Isiah understands this. And this will be his team, no matter who plays here, and that will cause Starbury to have the confidence needed to be a true star in this league. Professional sports is more than just stats and what a player did on other teams. Starbury is the foundation for a psychology to develop with this team, and I thank Isiah for laying that foundation.

LIke him or not, Marbury is part of what made this team turn around so quickly.

Now, only thing he's got to do is become a floor general instead of a scorer.

We need him to make his teamates better.

The *last* thing I want him to do is to stop being such a good scoring threat. And I want him to continue to be such a good "floor general"

floor general he is not yet. Yeah, he's got moves, handles and tremendous scoring abilities, but now, he should get his teamates involved, ala IT, who started winning when his scoring average lowered.
