Coaching is lacking this year. The offense is non existent. Alot of one on one. Alot of standing around. On defense, alot of staring off into space. USA is susceptible to backdoor plays and pick and roll. They are also vulnerable to guarding the post and keeping guys out the lane. Basically they are not playing very good basketball. These European teams play great team ball. What's most troubling is the world teams are not afraid of the usa team. They got their asses bust twice and are lucky they were able to pull out 2 wins.

A far cry from the previous world championship team where Durant looked like it was his team.
The play is a bit disjointed like an all-star game. USA is very primed for a defeat.
Durant had a really bad game yesterday. The center that played for the bucks was awesome. I think they caught a break when he fouled out.
yup two of their guys fouled out. Plus we left them wide open with a chance to tie. For the first time in a long time TEAM USA won a game they probably shouldnt have

Embarrassing. $300 mil of annual salary coached by the heralded just eking out wins because inferior talents are out executing NBA stars. Spare me the excuses about getting to know each other , they have all played the game long enough to understand the basics on both ends. Doesnt shock, in my youth use to watch immigrants from Yuglslavia dominate local courts by playing together even when tilted to leads. Praise for Melo but wish the Euro league was operating in the states as a alternative view to NBA

You guys are seeing what Phil was talking about when he said that these players nowadays don't know how to play team basketball. PhIL was right yet again.

Scrubs except their role.......Elite NBA players fight over their roles........that's the problem with building a team of elite NBA players......everybody is used to being the star player......its hard to be a role player when u are used to being the focal point. These international teams are filled the players that understand their role...... And understand the effort they must bring......usa is filled with ****y superstars who think they can't lose and can turn it up anytime.
