goose bumps man...your editing skills are amazing. Professional. I assume this is more than a hobby? The way you synch music and action are really good man. Either way this is just a fantastic way to start my Wednesday. I put my phone on busy, plugged in my earphones and enjoyed 2+ minutes of unicorn bliss.

Saw a mix tape of the kid yesterday, and this one today. Great job!!!!!
Great reminder that some good stuff is happening and Knicks are not about Rose and Melo, its about KP!! At the same time, when I see stuff like this I hate Screaming A. Smith even more. I know this kid "Fell" to us but he had question marks and two other teams passed on him. I say that because Towns was the no brainer. We need just temper our expectations (ok, I do at least) and hope the kid stays healthy and continues his trajectory. |

Great job!!!!! dont listen to Smith man - hes a drama queen but also a big Phil Jackson hater probably cause hes either jealous of his contract or cause he doesnt have any kind of personal relationship with him. hes such a fake Knicks fan to be fair they did say that Gaines recommended Phil to pick KP with the #1 pick if they had it long before the draft |

Pavvy wrote:hey guys- forgot to post this mix again on KPs bday yesterday - so here it is again.....some of you may have already seen it and if not then i hope you enjoy thanks for that. for some reason i got a little choked up watching him. of particular note, please take a look at the passing highlights at the 51 second mark. i know they're just highlights but they do show that kp6 can become a terrific passer/playmaker. this is an aspect of his game that hornacek should develop and exploit. passing big men like noah and gasol are gold, especially in the triangle. sure hope he can get rose and jennings to become cutters. knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Melo bought into the culture last year. KP6 was born into it and should be fine to implement what his coaches want.
Noah seems to be a team first kind of guy and already a good passer. Im hoping that Rose's penetration forces doubles making life easier for KP and Melo. Rose has the tools to be a great point on the triangle so it will be interesting to see if he can assimilate. Rose and Jennings obviously in a contract year want to put up good stat's. Question is will then work hard off the ball to get easy shots? or feel pressure to create? there is a time for that. |

Amazing mix, Pavvy. You keep getting better with these. Clearly you have skills in editing. Agree with Fish about the syncopation of music with game action.
Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to mix this 2 min video? |

KP6 was born into it and should be fine to implement what his coaches want. i have been saying this ever since we acquired jennings and rose: their primary role is to push the ball in transition, but once we get into the halfcourt, their skills at creating for others are highly overrated to the point of subtraction by addition. i don't mean they should never drive and kick, but rather that that aspect of their respective games should be lessened in order to allow for more froncourt players passing and playmaking. i say this about their playmaking for the simple fact that both leave their feet to pass the ball, which diminishes their ability to create. that results in diminishing returns, even if you factor in offensive rebounds/tip ins. less driving and more cutting from them would be the right approach. no more than 17 fga between the two of them. anyway there may be some good news on this front, in terms of adapting his game and deferring, read lang whitaker's and shaun powell's comments: http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2016/08/03/blogtable-are-knicks-a-super-team/ knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
