First the Dragonball Z cut:

Now the late 90s early 2000s corn row look:

Out of touch with reality first with the original poison pill contract with Houston, now out of touch with the times with his hair dos. Thank God he's in Jerse...I mean Brooklyn!

Never forget linsanity...

Men and women still wear braids. Nothing to see here.

Well i don't think will be a surprise but the one out of touch with the times is you. This hairstyle is actually in these days and plenty of men of all colors are wearing their hair in braids and pony tails and whatever the call it when they put the pony tail on the top of their head. Get with the times man.

That's just Jeremy being himself. He likes to have fun and even poke fun at himself. Here was a hysterical pic of him during his HS days.

Britney's new boyfriend? Lin will probably have some good games against NY, will be curious to see how he does against the rest of the league next season. Will probably see some posters from UK (not the regulars) becoming Nets fans. Some posters come here and talk about nothing else, even though he hasn't been a Knick in years.

yeah rare happy times.

Who needs playoff basketball when you can watch someone score 30 points in a few regular season games and then get hurt and leave?

Good times.

I don't give a crap about his hairdo. He gave us Linsanity, the lone bright spot in more than a decade of futility. Yes, it was't an entire season. But it was SOMETHING, and what's more, it's something we'll still remember a few decades from now.

So give the man his props and let him fade into obscurity on some other teams. We had him at his apex.

Good times.

Exactly. Linsanity was the best 10 game era ever! Better than the banners on the Garden ceiling even.

Thank God Jeremy showed his mettle and resolve to the team in that hard fought playoff series against Miami...what??! He didn't?

Phuck him once again. Phuck him 4 years later. Like a tagline from everyone's favorite TV show "The North Remembers"

Not sure why Lin is so important on this board.
It was cool games and some expectations.
It was clear that he will not stick around with the nonsense of MSG.
Good for him. He avoided a lot of unnecessary drama in his life.
You can not step twice into the same river.
Thank You man and good luck.

"Whew"?
Did Phil consider Lin?
We really upset with him for turning down 25mil?
Or is this about his hair?
Can we "whew" also for Shump and his hair??

What's wrong with Shump's hair?

Yea. You're right. Shump's hair deserves it's own thread too. Disaster hair like you read about. A collective "whew" for that guy too.

I thought the "we could have signed Wade" was the bullet we dodged!
Or
Rondo...........

Knicks off season looks brilliant compared to Chicago. They traded for Grant. WIll he get off the bench?
He had Jose mentoring him. NOw he gets Rondo. Lucky man.

A few decades from now? Seriously? You're going to remember a 10 day span in the regular season 20-30 years from now? You've got to be...

...wait, I still remember Chris McNealy getting 7 steals in one game! Wow! you're right!

Where were you when Chris Duhon dished 22?

If you were in the city, Linsanity was something else, man. It was in the streets, in the bars, people who you thought couldn't name another team besides the Globetrotters were all in... I'm telling you, it was a happening dude.

If you weren't living in/around the city, I reckon it was more abstract.
