As I indicated in an earlier thread Marshal Plumlee does not look like an NBA player. Maybe his signing is an incentive for Miles Plumlee to sign for the minimum. His best season was with Hornachek and we could use an athletic experienced back up center behind Noah.

Maybe the Knicks could trade O'Quinn (who I think will be better this season) to Portland for Marshall Plumlee. He's an athletic 4/5 that has already played in NYC. A backup front line of intelligent hard workers in L.Thomas, Miles & Mason Plumlee (all from Duke) would be an asset during games & practice. Type of players that will make KP a better player.

Btw if we throw in a 2nd round pick wouldn't mind taking Shabazz Napier from Portland, who was just acquired for cash. Perfect 3rd point guard who is young with great ability to play behind Rose & Jennings.

Pg: Rose, Jennings, Napier
Sg: Lee, Holiday
Sf: Melo, L.Thomas, Lithiuania
Pf: Porzingis, Mason Plumlee
C: Noah, Miles Plumlee, Hernangomez

Westchester: Marshal Plumlee, Randle, Baker

IMO Marshall looks to be a solid prospect. Like most players he needs time to refine his game but he's better than some are giving him credit for. I suspect the Knicks want to get him on a development program and build him up.

I mentioned in another thread that Marshall looks great physically but was not groomed properly in college. If he cleans up his moves inside he could be helpfully.

This happens a lot on big time college teams. They were more focused on their top recruits and he was in a limited role. He's the kind of kid that has a better chance in the pros than in a rigid college system. He's not starting from scratch offensively, which is good. As you say he needs to refine his moves but he's got some ability already. Athletically he's got NBA level talent. I would bring him in and let him learn from Noah, what it takes to be an NBA Center.

I'm hesitant to bring family in for the same team ever since the Morris twins. As if Chris Smith wasn't bad enough...

It's a business, but family can't help but be taken personally.

Having multiple Plumlee's on the team is a good thing. They are hard working, intelligent ball players. I'm all s for bringing Miles & Mason on board

So just realized that Miles Plumlee is a restricted free agent meaning we would have to s&f trade for him.
Maybe Marshall Plumlee means more Plumlees...
