Bring Hand checking back please! Only way for teams to beat guys like curry and Durant is to get physical ! I miss the grind of the 90's it was any teams game who brought the most physical defense... Blow outs are boring. Close games are the best .

Imagine being able to put you hand on curry at half court and force him to places he doesn't wanna go on the court . He might turn into dell curry 2.0

Amen to that. I can understand changing to rules to protect players but removing handchecking was purely done to boost the offense.

They should...but they won't.

They want the scoring.

Almost impossible to guard a decent player on the perimeter these days...don't think the NBA cares about this. They still allow palming much of the time and except for the dragging/lifted pivot foot, they rarely call traveling.

Kind of like PEDs in baseball.

Same thing going on in the NFL with not touching receivers.

You don't usually see measures in any sport which decrease scoring or help a defense. Lowering the mound in the late 1960's was another way to increase offense.

+1 - The current ruleset is pretty ridiculous but the want more scoring. I can't see them changing this. In the finals they finally allowed some physical play and it made things tough for GS.

While I don't see them allowing people to defend the perimeter, they will need to call some of the illegal screens GS sets. They set at least 1 a possession. They will slaughter people if that continues with KD instead of Barnes ending up open. Also, when they go to that small lineup, they need to actually call the defensive fouls/loose ball fouls they commit because they are undersized. That would balance things out a bit.

Forgot about the screens...GS has that down to an art. I know there is someone on UK who goes crazy over the non-called moving screens by GS.

Things have changed.

I hate handchecking but they do need to let them play a bit more and have more clearly defined rules. Can't have one game a bit looser and then the next game called extremely tight. You can't even fight over screens or ride the ball handlers hip without getting called more than not. It's just too much.

That someone may be me. LOL! I'm sure others notice though. Some of them are pretty sneaky but others are blatant and it should be a point of emphasis. If defenders aren't really allowed to play defense they can't allow all these moving screens.

Yes that was me, so many moving screens it was a disgrace the refs just let it happen.
