Worst draft night ever. I still remember driving over to a draft party and hearing the rumor about that trade.

and I get grief for being worried that we've repeated history with Rose & Noah.

And on a serious note- thank goodness we've stopped trading away first round picks. How much has this organization been set back with trades out of players like Nene, Noah.

Noah - Traded by the New York Knicks (as a future 2007 1st round draft pick) with Jermaine Jackson, Mike Sweetney, Tim Thomas, a 2006 1st round draft pick (LaMarcus Aldridge was later selected), a 2007 2nd round draft pick (Kyrylo Fesenko was later selected) and a 2009 2nd round draft pick (Jon Brockman was later selected) to the Chicago Bulls for Eddy Curry, Antonio Davis and a 2007 1st round draft pick (Wilson Chandler was later selected).

So basically Noah and Aldridge for Curry and Wilson Chandler as far as the player who mattered in that deal.

I believe we traded away the picks that became Noah, LMA, and Gordon Hayward.........

We got back Noah, hopefully 2017 is about getting back Hayward.

The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away

I'd be down for that. Utah guy. Maybe Hornacek can sell him on the move from Utah to NYC. He'd be a perfect fit.

Thanks for reminding us of the nightmare of McKnee.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Yes, no picks- though Grant was.

The issue I have with Noah vis a vis the broken down basketball player he might be is the contract and length - those are liabilities in the future as they could prevent us from signing someone later down the line.

But yes, nowhere near the fudge up the Eddy Curry deal was or the McDyss deal was- my concern is it's more of a potential H2O deal where he comes up lame and is an unmovable contract.

With trepidation, I eagerly await the start of training camp. And if he and Rose are hurt, I will refrain from starting any threads about that.
