I have been busy with work and only saw a part of one game. The team clearly has no pg, but I thought Plumlee showed potential. For those who watched all the games, do we have any players worth bringing to camp and hopefully making the team?

They have been a huge disappointment. Ron Baker can play though. He's not getting much help so far in the summer

Well to give better insight.... I feel alot of the guys are trying too hard to show they can play. The two teams we faced seemed to have better comrodery. Guys were really attacking the Knicks. Our guys were more individual in almost all their movements.

There were a couple sweet plays and little red light moments that made you smile but can't really overstate them when you get blown out by 30

NO! next question. lol
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Unless they really like Baker (or Plumlee), if we look to add a summer league player to the mix, I would think the player comes from another team.

Agreed. Plumlee looks like he could be a good D-league choice. I'm not sure of Baker. He has looked a bit slow and overweight.

hope there is someone worth keeping because we got a lot of spots to fill and they will likely have to play given the age/injury history we're dealing with on our main guys.

We only have 5 spots to fill. Would be nice to get a gem in sumer league but it looks like we're going to have to sign vet minimum guys. We'll have alot to choose from this year

Yeah, I could see Plumlee on the Westchester team. I've had Khem Birch in mind as a long athletic forward who could add some shot-blocking and a little offensive around the hoop but Wood's probably an even better choice for this type of player. A little bigger, higher upside and more well-rounded then Birch... I also like Justin Harper as a stretch 4 and I'm curious about Anthony Bennett now that he seems to have rededicated himself.

The only one I would touch on the Summer league team is Plumlee. With some seasoning he can be a Cole Aldrich type player. Hopefully some other players pick up their play but I am not holding my breath for it.

Plumlee is a physical and athletic big. He can run the floor and has good feet. He's also more skilled than most realize. He should make the team IMO.

Baker should get another look in Training Camp. I see some signs he could be a useful guard for practice and hopefully be developed into a decent bench player.

Summers might get a TC invite.

We'll see if anyone else shows something. They may bring a few guys to the D League and give them a chance to develop. Diabate, Harris and Avila in particular.

Wow. That's just bad. How do we field a summer league team with not one guy who is likely to make the team. That is poor work on our scouting department.

We had no picks this year, we traded one of our picks from last year, and KP is too good to risk in Summer League, especially with a weak roster like that.

It'd have been nice to find a few gems - it seems like they tried, but not every prospect is gonna pan out.

But if we can add anybody from any team, doesnt really matter how good our players are? Phil may want to give out a partial to some other standout player. I think Baker will play better in a system with vets. Its like telling JJ REDICK to run the point. Baker is a catch and shoot player.
