Melo knew.....maybe definitively not GS but he knew...while Riles, Ainge, Doc, and Pop was in the Hamptons laying out the grand plans ....Melo knew.....while the Media types were killing us...the Knicks could not get an invite with these meetings in their backyard Melo knew....Phil went ahead not waiting...and started executing plans....
Teams like the Celts....which imo that unless the execute a trade are marginal better than last year..I would prefer Love on their squad than Hoford....
The Bulls.....regressed to the third kind...you bring in a ball dominant point to this team with Butler...let me know how that works before the AS break....
The heat....pissed wade off....do not have a starting SF..other than Winslow which may be enough....is Wade going to have the chops to keep them in games every night....is Bosh going to be Bosh...
Right now we are in the pack....if Rose is 80% .....Noah healthy and Melo and KP showing growth with a solid bench and our uptempo style triangle we can make a decent run....
I know this is a stretch moment comment.....but Melo plays great against LBJ...particularly if there is something to play for....if Rose is 80.... The Irving match we are not getting lit up like a Roman candle...KP can take Love....who is on Cavs bench....shump....dellie is gone....JR is JR...
I think we got.....with the caveat of health and team chemistry coming quickly the chops to do something....
