How much tho.

Lee is going to be 31 when the season starts, so him getting a four-year deal would be a really nice get. If he does want to go to a contending team, those teams might only be willing to go for three years. It sounds like his deal could be done in the next day or so with the Wolves, 76ers, Hornets, and Kings interested.

I think he'd be a really good choice cause he gives us the two things we need most in a starting SG which is defense and 3 point shooting.

4 yrs for a 31 yr old? not sure about that
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Crazy monies being tossed at average players. Marginal players who are recently retired must be weeping in their modest condos.

Andrew Miller of Yanks is arguably the most dominant closer in game (despite Chapman)and he makes $9. At 6 8" he might want to consider switching sports

Looks like it's Gordon or wade... If Lee walked away it means he thinks he can make more

The top end baseball players make a LOT of money. The problem I see here is that its not sustainable. At a 110mm cap if your best two players make 25mm theres 60mm left over for 13 spots. Now the middle players are making 12-14mm etc its a broken system.

Man, at this point, I'd go back and talk to Rivers if they haven't sat down with him already. And then there are good quality SG backups we could add at a Rockbottom price i.e. Terrico White, Jabari Brown, Ron Baker already has a foot in the door, etc.. Rivers would be an intriguing young talent to add for about $8mm/yr. I see Rivers as one of our best options right now.

A broken system that is making the owners windfalls of money, the players windfalls of money, the shoe manufacturers windfalls of money and the TV broadcasters windfalls of money.

And the reason why they're all making these windfalls of money, because fans don't care. They're watching anyway.

I think we may need to rethink the definition of "broken" if the NBA is broken.

Because broken sounds pretty f---ing awesome.
