Sources: Courtney Lee's agent has spoken with Lee about joining the #Knicks I'm told Noah is the one recruiting Lee to NY if he comes.

Courtney Lee is nothing special, but he's a pro and can do a lot of thing right. I would fully be behind Lee. He's a low ceiling signing. We aren't beating the Cavs in the conf finals cause Courtney Lee is tearing it up. But he will make us better, because he's exactly the kind of pro where JH knows exactly what he is getting. I freakin coach 12 year olds and I cant tell you how important that is in the team concept. So short term, especially with some young guards in the mix he helps immediately. JH can work with skilled young guards but trust me he needs some guys with experience that know what the phuck he's talking about.

I have no problem with these guys bringing in their own posse. Melo holds himself accountable, so I would expect this to have a blended family feel... almost a joining of forces so to say. Lee and Noah are lunch pail guys. Means lots of shots for KP/Rose/Melo

Eny... I said this in another thread:

I could see $18mm Noah and $10mm Lee. Honestly in this market that is great value. I would love to land a bigger fish but those are good players. We have our pick next year if its a disaster. If all goes well got forbid they are al reasonably healthy next spring who wants to play that team???? KP/Melo/Rose/Noah/Lee... jesus that team could do damage. I understand the reality is more likely that Noah/Rose stumble through the season, play about 60ish game, both miss a month ish with cortozone shots and all that jazz, but even if I am the 6th seed if I can get those guy up to 75% healthy we can still be poised to get to the conf finals. Knicks were open about managing Rose's body and making sure he gets the rest he needs. That tells you they are good winning 44 when Thibs would have them winning 55, but this time Rose and Noah have been spared as much mileage as reasonable.

If you consider its 100% possible the Knicks totally whiff in FA I am not opposed this option. We have no idea how good Willy is. Dude is regarded as one of the best young players in EU. Don't expect a KP impact but I do expect those two to have chemistry! Their highlights are unicorn hangs with Shrek. KP is a gym rat, he is going to be a better player. Maybe we get MORE DadMelo with better player Melo is getting 5.5 dimes a night and is a sniper from 3 (for some reason Rose creates more open looks than Jose, despite what the metrics say)... So much upside. Impact players = good. Rose and Noah = impact players.

Yeah great value lets pay 6 million dollars more a year for a washed up center who is 3 years older than R Lopez. At this point in his career Lopez is better than Noah

Wasn't this the same twitter account that said Phil could make a trade in the draft and was prepared too?

A fan with hope for a season is more real than being the negative dude who defines success as "Being right".
He pointed out why he thought it could work and why it might not. It did not.

I thought Landry Fields should have been redrafted at 2 when he was playing lights out his rookie year. Ive had my misses.

Fields could see the floor so well, great anticipation, but he went Hollywood. Spent more time making funny videos, when he should have been working on his game. Made some serious money and married a model. Cant hate on that.

We don't know how much time those video's took. He got a bad injury and could not continue. We begrudge him for leaving but the money was awesome. That's how you sign free agents, sometimes have to over pay.
Im glad he got his money before he got hurt.
