I would sign him with a nice long term deal like what KOQ has and slot him in to replace Robin Lopez. He brings everything we got and basically needed from Lopez, but does so cheaper.

It'd be nothing short of a miracle room exception signing.

Interesting cheap direction. It all depends on Noah's expectations, though.

I don't know about this one.. He lost his starting role in Cleveland and has not played to what we know he's capable of doing...

As a backup, maybe but we won't go far with Moscow as our starting center....

unless Noah is signing cheap - and even if he does, I would prefer Mozgov because he's less of an injury risk, has fewer minutes on his body and probably a greater likelihood of longevity at his modest level of production.

I posted this in a different thread, Mozgov's career stats and per 36 min. stats are virtually identical to Lopez. If he's healthy I would love for the Knicks to sign him even if we get Noah or Howard. His stock has be low right now (you would think he comes cheap), he's already familiar with NYC and I think he pretty much does what Lopez did (at hopefully a lower price).

How many years have to go by before it's realized Phil doesn't take in past MSG administrations' flotsam?

Good concept to remember when Lin ends up not coming here either.

Like him or hate him, Phil is his own, ego-centric animal.

Has to make the squad for no other reason than the "I'm a Souleyman" halftime big screen videos.

Timofey Mozgov anyone?
