He's back!!!!! Full of bravado. The shoes are back after years of exile! Jumping on Jordan for his expensive shoes, Jumping on Dolan and D'antoni without any expression of culpability for his part. The man who claims to be a "Peace Star" is mostly about selling his brand. If he truly evolved, he'd have reflected on his experience and journey, but instead still harbors the resentment of his exile from the NBA. Poor choice of words to say he'd never return by "gunpoint" the day after Orlando shooting. Yes, he came into camp in shape but he came in not about the team, but about himself. He was benched because he was not coachable. The body language usually told the story. My friend has a funny expression when one of her teenage kids comes to the dinner table with attitude: "If you gonna bring that "PhuchFace" to the table I'd just as soon you leave and come back when its gone". Marbury back in town to sell his crappy sneakers. If you ever wore a pare you'd understand just how bad they are. As for his marketing the company like a charity, Im not buying it. This guy wants to sell apparel, and not a damn thing wrong with doing that, but disguising it as one seems cheesy to me. Every once in a while Marbury would publicize his "Being at peace" with how it all went down. Its obvious he is wrong. He was bought to NY and he did little to further the cause of bringing the knicks back to relevancy. Not that this franchise was a great environment to do so, but his toxic nature was a part of it. To not accept his role or recognize his immaturity demonstrates insincerity, and really not much has changed since he was a knick. |
