I am really enjoying the chill, refreshing and hydrating Horny Kool Aid- I thought I'd share the recipe.
Very tall and wide glass. Like Ewing in '93, were he a water glass compared to an ordinary glass.
Fill with Ice
Juice one half of a fresh organic lemon or lime. If you don't have an organic one it's still good --and if you don't have the fruit use lemon juice and if you don't have that lemonade is ok but it's a fourth option- In Knicks terms- Clyde would be organic, Melo non-org lemon, Lemon Juice Afflalo and Lemonade JR Smith - --- But they can all give you a good game sometimes- but the ranking is clear---
Fill glass with water - best quality available.
That's Horny Triangle System. It's a very flexible system. As long as the above ingredients are set well, alone it is truly refreshing and delicious- and very healthy. This drink will keep you alive when you have done everything else wrong.
Here's the fun part- It fits all the players-
Clean Player - Drink as above. Add mint leaf or some other herb and make a giant pitcher of it this summer and have it innocently sitting in the fridge chilled when that hot girl from yoga class finally comes over when it's 100 F outside.
The rest of us-
After the ice step - This is the BEST hard liqour drink ever- Add vodka - somewhere around the 1/4 mark to the 1/3 mark max (AFTER THE ICE)
Something about the lemon and vod fuses in the cold water and cancels out the bitterness of the other- and makes it slightly sweet - and it's the perfect drink to give a girl- kicks vodka and soda's ass all over- no soda water w this - it ruins it - It is the best vodka drink aside from a martini, but ahead of vodka tonic - And it leaves you with good breath.
2nd Options- This is where we incorporate the triangle. Although I like the vods - in the lemon fusing part- equally good in this offense is the same mix with Tequila (not Cuervo- think Isiah) and really soft and easy with Rum. I can't recommend it w Gin or Whisky I wouldn't mix them w Lemon but I bet some night will come up where they're needed to deliver (think Galloway) and I bet they will. That's the strength of this offense.
And of course, since this is a public service announcement wrapped in a Kool Aid thread --- never mind this isn't the place to moralize - GO KNICKS
This is dedicated to both the insane people who used to post here that I loved reading who don't anymore- and to those who still do - trust me this is amazing and I'm talking to you MARTIN . You still got that light up cup? That would work.
