Holy Christ!

Does it affect you that much that you have to lock a speculative thread?. It's a speculative thread during a free agent summer where Lin could end up on a bunch of other teams besides Hornets because he's being sought after.

My God, this forum is ridiculous when it comes to Jeremy Lin. I'm starting to think maybe these Moderators are a bunch of racist idiots who can't stand that an Asian dude is getting all the attention against a BLACK MAN/WHITE MAN in this BLACK MAN/WHITE MAN dominate league.

We were having a normal conversation about where Lin would end up next and the threat was locked. WHY? WHY??? I say Houston and maybe Knicks.\

Why was it locked? I'm freaking serious. Why the hell was it locked and I want these moderators to explain why the hell my thread was locked. I would love a reasonable answer. Go ahead, give me a good answer why my thread was locked.

I'm a 40 year old black man and I support Jeremy Lin the same way folks supported Jackie Robinson back when it was an all white league in the MLB. Ya'll want to change the issue because homeboy is Asian and it's not part of your narrative. My Wife is Asian. The dude who locked my thread is a straight up bitch. He's also a racist. I can't think of any other reason why anyone would lock up a speculative thread. I could speculative where LeBron would go after losing and would these bitch ass Moderators lock the damn thread. Hell no.

Your thread was probably locked because it was hope/speculation masquerading as fact (the second time you've done it, though last time you claimed the facts were he was returning here). Nothing annoys me more than clicking on a thread declaring "x has happened" only to find it hasn't happened at all and the poster just hopes it will happen.

Your obsession with Lin clouds your judgement and perception of reality.

I also found the title a bit misleading. BTW, I am a fan of Jeremy Lin. I think he has potential for more success in the NBA, but it seems overenthusiastic fans could end up hurting him.

There have been plenty of Lin threads over the yrs and not many of them if any have gotten locked. So the reason yours did is probably due to you making the title appear as if Lin already signed with the Rockets. If your title was I believe Lin will sign with the Rockets then the thread probably doesn't get locked.

I don't know which thread is being referred to here but it would be nice to have a 1 sentence explanation when threads are locked. Then people won't make the same mistake with future threads.
