After next year I can see TT resigning for something in the $7-$8mm range vs. the $15mm he will make. Thats major savings. I can see Penny walk. Thats thats $15mm in savings, and I can see Nazr and change get used or flipped. Either way the payroll will go down $20mm or so, EVEN if we do flip one of those deals.

The problem is Layden didnt just overpay, thats one thing. He overpaid for bad players. I have no problem w/ MSG overpaying their core players, its the Shandon, Eisley, Spoon, Travis type contracts that ruined this situation. Not only did you have $30mm of salary that was just bad talent, but you were forced to play these guys on top of it.
