Co-captain of the US Olympic team Allen Iverson accepted his suspension and offered no excuses for his behavior.

"Any excuse that I give is not a good-enough excuse," Iverson conceded. "Because I was late, simple as that.

"If you're late, you gotta pay the consequences, and that's what happened with me."

"Today was a bad day," Iverson said. "I just want to put it behind me."

lets not forget it was lebron and amare too. im actually alil dissapointed in lebron, i mean 11am come on he's one of the biggest names in sports, put it together.

Yeah, I read in a separate article about Amare and Lebron. That must have neen Iverson's influence on them

Now on the realgm wiretap Iverson says he was only 5 minutes late. If that's true, suspending him seems a bit excessive, but we obviously don't know the full story

They all came in separate times, with Iverson being only a minute or so late and the other two came in separately at different times.

It is true, Iverson is a bad influence and needed to be suspended for being a bad bad captain. All captains must report on time and be the first in and last out. Maybe he was busy hitting the bong and passing it around to Lebron and Amare.
Knicks are happening and have a Unicorn.

I read that too. THey just though that didn't need to be exactly on time. But hey, we're talking of Larry Brown. He did that so now things are really clear I guess. He's not here to loose.
