We picked Wroten up as a mid-season free agent. He should not be factored into this at all. Maybe he ends up being a decent player, then it will be a bonus. But he might not even be worth a roster spot either, it's an unknown at this point.

I see what you're saying but I disagree. I think we should resist the urge to overspend. I think we could still field a good team next year and one with upside without doling out huge money to a few role players.

I literally don't know how to handle the valuation on the rise in cap space.

But as a fake GM, I'd want 1 of a couple of things from a player for $15M.

1) Young guy with very noticeable upside (Crabbe almost fits this), needs to be projected, solid starter at minimum.
2) 1-time all-star (or near allstar) ala DeMarre Carroll
3) 6th man of the year candidate, needs to be still young
4) No noticable gaps in game. Can't be Jamal Crawford and lack of D, I wouldn't take a wing player who can't shoot from downtown - Evan Turner, etc.
