That's really surprising to me. I thought they were a team on the rise. Maybe a conflict of opinions on how to move forward?

well that sucks! coach vogel or coach blatt would have a better opportunity in orlando with that young talent
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

It really is musical coaching chairs in the NBA nowadays. No job is safe unless your name is Popovich really. 2nd longest tenured is Carlysle and Spoelstra and that speaks volumes about the profession and stability in today's NBA.

good point. Ugh

this will be a test. Is a talented roster more attractive to a coach, or being a padwan to Yoda Phil

We might want to see what the problem is first with Skiles. Maybe he has personal reason beyond the team?

He says he's not a fit for the roster they have -- that's all.

Apparently, he has history of being quite a bit more "old school"
than most NBA players today.

So don't know where he'd go to work next . . .
