This is par for the course with Phil since he's been here. Wouldn't take much of a guess to imagine Phil trying to acquire a pick.

Oh, so you think it is possible to extrapolate theories about what the team is doing based on past events? That's interesting.

Why act like I never make points based on facts? Phil clearly has looked to add picks since he's been here. No big whoop!

No thread can be about the actual subject in here lately, there's a hidden agenda at every turn. In this case the 3rd reply. In any case, still fun too look up the prospect in the OP.

Hes going to be a very decent 2nd round pick because he can shoot the three very very well and obviously he can use the dribble to make plays which we dont have in combination. Where I dont see the Knicks--with Phil Jackson getting hot is that hes probably 5-11 with short armns although built thick speedy and athletic. I was on him originally and just fell off--but he certainly wouldnt be a bad pick in anyway.

I'm just tired of nixluva chasing me around and replying to everything I post telling me it's actually proof of how great Phil is.

I posted this thread with good intentions, I'm just sick of nix's bulldog rose colored lenses.

Knicks have a scheduled workout without a pick.
Knicks did get three 2nd round picks in 2014. Two picks in the Tyson/Felton deal with Dallas (often overlooked) which got us Thanasis and Early, and one they bought from Indy they used to get Louis Labyrie
None last year.
Two drafts Phil has over seen. I take it Phil will try to get a pick as evident by a workout, but that does not mean he can succeed. He will be seen as "was on vacation and watching judge judy instead of trying to get a deal" even though its likely Mills job to work that phone.

Yes, some of us are overly optimistic and some are overly negative!

Traded THJ to Atlanta for a first (Grant) and bought a 2nd rounder from Philly (Hernangomez).

Would be nice to see some of these 2nd rounders pan out. Maybe one will turn into a gem (Willy?)
Definitely a change of pace from how we used to operate on draft night, whether it's Phil or Mills - or god forbid, they could be working in tandem!

So Mills, Houston and Rambo are going to the combine, does that mean Rambo is coach or that he's being shifted to a front office job? Did Fisher go last year?

Just hard to believe we put no protection after the right to swap. Just boggles the mind how many times we have F'd up like this. (Aldridge, Noah, etc.)
If we have put top 10 protection on that pick after giving it to Toronto (for Bargs) would they have said no? I mean that is normal.
We gift wrapped a potential game changing player, looks like a pick at 6 or so for a very nice Toronto team.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. Albert Einstein

I think its fair to speculate as to whether or not Phil might accelerate the process and trade into the first round. There is no benefit in wasting another year waiting for next year's pick. This would add yet another major youth component to the team, consolidate the triangle development to this year and be ready for a run two years out.

Ferrell isn't in the top 60 in the mocks on draft net and draft express.
