I know most people dont follow this depths of college basketball and these guys kind of go through the wayside. The three guards I like--Valentine MCCaw and forbes--the more I read the more I believe that Valentine simply will not be a guy we can get in almost every trade scenario--I think hes going to go top 14 now which essentially eliminates us. So we focus now on what will help us going 4ward and there is a lot to like about McCaw--he just got invited to the combine which means hes highly likely to stay in the draft. Hes a 6-7 SG and hes a really good all around player true 2 way player and the things that separates him from alot of other guards in this draft--he can HANDLE the ball well at 6-7 with long arms. Hes a tad on the skinny side but that has little meaning in the nBA. Hes got a lot of what we would want out of a SG good passer rebounder a top collegiate defender nice form on his shot despite being only 19. He reminds me a lot of a young Paul George--hes got a lot of upside and hes a player who is reasonable in terms of us having the ability to acquire him either with a very late 1 or early 2---assets I would deem are obtainable from our position. Hes a player who would jump into the lottery or high lottery if he stayed 1 more year--so youre getting the talent and the value.

Ive seen McCaw play...hes a skinny shooting guard who CANT shoot. lol. but sure if you wanna take a gamble on him in the 2nd rd, sure why not
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

He shot well from distance as a freshman. I suspect he has a poor in between game but transitiion, catch n shoot, & drives he does well at. As a second round roject sure but you are wrong to think his lack of size won't matter. He needs 15 lbs to his frame to even think about becoming a rotational player. I bet if you put him and sophomore Josh Richardson you'd think McCaw was further along for whatever that's worth. His defensive tenacity is intriguing though.
