Curry lost for 2-3 weeks put them at risk against a healthy Clippers veteran team that while under achieved this season, could have had the ingredients to upset the warriors.
Now, the Clippers are vulnerable and the Trailblazers are really not a match vs. the Curry-less Warriors. This gives Steph more time to prepare for inevitable match in the Conference finals. If the seedings keep to the math, the Spurs and Thunder should meet each other and that could prove to be a tough series. Who ever emerges, but does so beaten up to face a potentially healthy Warrior team (providing no further injury). Thats some damn good karma, the kind needed for teams to repeat!! They needed it last year and might have it again.
In the east, Lebron is in that zone again and the Cav's are building some feel good momentum and getting some cred. Imagine Kyrie actually making it all the way to summer without injury?
Playoffs are long haul to June.
