Think he would coach just one year then turn the reins over to Rambis. Also if he wants to attract any of the top free agents, he needs to coach the team himself.
There was mention that his physical ailments had gotten better but I'm sure there will be some nights he turns the team over to Rambis.
He has already started coaching with his recent triangle clinic; why not for one last season??

ever play sports? A triangle coaching seminar is like a pickup softball game with your buds. "One more year" is 2 months of training before the season, its lighting weight, running sprints, monitoring your diet, etc etc... BIG difference. He's not coaching, he just isn't. He wants to share knowledge, and he wants to have a hands on role in shaping this whole thing. That's it. Don't read more than that

No we DON'T know that next year will be a disaster! What is it with some of you folks? Phil is simply too old and unfit to coach full time.

The key to this team winning more games is gonna come from the players improving! Current players getting better and by better additions.
