To me he was always the bum Walker to be drafted that year with Antoine. On the court at least

Bring all the Triangle guys to NY!!!!! new generation of guys. ALl have won championships. What we don't know as fans is how champion teams practice and keep that intensity. We just see the games!
Guys that have been there know. The stars have financial security and its rare they stay hungry. Maybe Fisher once he stopped playing found the transition very hard. I don't know. Guys like Phil, who led the NCAA in scoring playing for HOF coach Bill Fitch, then Red, (had back surgery and had to reinvent himself) are usually more cerebral about the game. |
