I'm asking cuz the Clippers agreed to take Kittles for a second round pick....all they had to do is obsorb his contract....

Would Atlanta do that if we took back a bad contract? Atlanta has crazy room but no one wants to play there.

For example Alan Henderson for Allan Houston would work cuz Atlanta is over the cap. Same type of trade could be made with Jason Terry instead.

Thoughts?

Another trade that works is Alan Henderson for Shandon, Othella Moochie, and Frank

Atlanta would get a point guard for the future...move Terry back to the shooting guard, they would have a back up point, a servicable power forward, and a Shandon to be the swingman....

Would Atlanta do that? As of right now they have to fill out their roster....

why do you want to give up Frank Williams for the pure purpose of getting Shandon Anderson & Moochie Norris's contracts off the books? that won't affect our cap situation anyway.

Getting them off the team is more than enough reason for me....The Knicks need the roster spots. Ariza, Barrett, Eddie Robinson, JYD, Crawford? I think that covers it....

On top of that the Knicks would get the Trader's exemption like I stated above......I think it's cool....maybe Atlanta would do it.

Shandon, Othella & Frank are all parts of that deal for Crawford.

I know....I guess getting JYD and E Rob are out of the question....
Maybe since there has been a month of BS maybe this would satisfy the need to get rid of those bums....

Knicks still have some pieces to make a deal happen...maybe not with the Bulls.

What about Houston for Alan Henderson?

the ball is in Isiah's court...he can get Crawford, but he won't give up Deke for some reason...i have to believe that there is another deal in the works that he's waiting to see if he can get done that he wants more than Crawford...maybe for Vince? who knows.

but to make that trade for Henderson doesn't make a whole lotta sense for the Knicks because it doesn't improve the team at all...we aren't a team looking to make salary dump trades like the Nets are.

Dikembe was in the last offer; the sticking point was that Moochie was part of the deal

my understanding was that Isiah was not willing to replace Moochie w/Deke in the deal.

No, you can check all the recent articles. Here's one quote from the realgm wiretap:

While Dikembe Mutombo is now in the trade as per John Paxson's request, the sticking point from the Bulls perspective is the fact that Moochie Norris still remains too, taking the place of Othella Harrington who has been offered to the Golden State Warriors for Erick Dampier.

Paxson is a nut for drafting Ben Gordon. He must have something personal against Jamal Crawford. Every year they tried to bury him and every year Craw has just gotten better. Anyway you look at it the Knicks get over. I'm sick of the hold up......

That's why I'm even mentioning all this stuff about the Trader exemption.....If no team want to trade with the Knicks just get rid of everyone who the Knicks don't need to Atlanta. Maybe they would make that type of trade just to fill out the roster. I think they really would consider it.

If Crawford becomes a Knick he is definately gonna have to start. They should call Atlanta and see if trading for Houston would be something they are interested in......Henderson for Houston,....that's if the Crawford deal ever goes through. Without Houston the Knicks still have Penny and Ariza....that is good enough.
