He might do a one year deal like Lebron.

There was an article advising him to take a one year deal, due to the eye popping number he could sign for next offseason, however I wouldn't risk it because a)his foot might break again, b) there's a lock out coming and I suspect they'll look to cap the max contracts a little (and boost the MLE, minimum contracts and rookie contracts)- just not worth the risk for him.

I want golden state to win game 7 so LeBron can get revenge from last yrs NBA Finals... Now that he has his reinforcements on Cleve team, he now needs to get that title for Ohio...

I think he'll do the one and one deal like Lebron - to see what Westbrook does.

Heartbreaking for them to get so close and not get over the hump.

I'm rooting for OKC in Game 7, but that's a tough challenge.

Lebrons run to the finals is historically significant but we value chips so its lost.
MVP's are subjective and I don't begrudge Curry for his awards but I kind of think that his team kind of propels him to his stature where I think Lebron carries teams on his back. Lebron is a multi tool player. Few MVP's play on bad teams, but curry having Klay is huge regarding the assist numbers he gets, and the spacing he is offered. Likewise Klay is given similar because of Curry's threat.
Major props. 73 wins and the award is for the regular season so I get it.

To me, the MVP should not awarded until after the playoffs. Regular season MVP carries far more importance than Finals MVP. Last year Igudala got it, but does Cav's even make the finals, let alone win 2 games in the finals if not for Lebron?

Nalod out, I sound like a Lebron Homer this morning.

I just want the warriors to lose- don't care whether its OKC or Cavs.

Anyone feel like Steve Kerr is a little overrated as a coach?
It feels as if the same mistakes are constantly being repeated throughout the series.

Okay, so maybe Klay is the microwave 2.0. Is that like a microwave that’s a convection oven?

Might be the last time we see Durant and Westbrook on the same team. My guess is that OKC mgmt will look for a third star to form a big three to keep Westbrook and Durant in OKC.

Bad russell cost OKC the series. Curry, Thompson, and Russell all have horrible shot selection except Curry and Thompson have better accuracy.

Only way I see OKC getting to the next level is a quality PG who can make better decisions late in games. KD and Westbrook are just not making smart TEAM plays when they need to play team ball.

"A bunch of arrogant fookers . . . " Yeah, making fun of Westbrook's defense, just giggling at it, and then walking off the court in a petulant fashion at the end of the game 7. . . oh, wait, that was _Westbrook_ dissing Curry and turning the cold shoulder. Whew, haters gonna hate.

I can see hating GS for various reasons but arrogant fookers they are not. Green not only hugged Adams at the end of the game, his comments about playing against Adams and the Thunder in general were, as far as I could tell, admiring, complementary, on-target, and respectful. All of the GS post-game interviews I saw seemed more heartfelt than boiler plate respectful. Green said, immediately, "I think they deserved to go to the finals just as much we do." As a group, GS, coaches and players, strike me as less arrogant than, well, any other NBA team I can think of. However, yes, they have recently had _a lot_ more to celebrate than any other team and they say quite loudly that they like being really freaking good at what they do and they say, over and over, that their goal is to continue to be the best team in the league. It's a pretty low bar, I know, but compare any interview with any GS player or coach with, say, any interview with Melo . . . or Jordan . . . or Riley . . . or Westbrook . . . or Lebron . . . and, as a rule, GS comes off pretty well, with a sense of perspective, humor, even modesty.

You gonna hate on GS . . . maybe hate on 3-ball, or small ball, or leftover Mark Jackson Jesus talk, or whatever. . . or hate because you gotta hate :)

GS looked like they were back tonight, Curry didn't look 100% but he looked close, maybe 85%. Varejao contributed. Barnes didn't score but he seemed more in the game than usual. Curry more than Green ran the game so the overall pacing was better. The Cleveland series is going to be interesting. I'm not sure who I'd bet on right now . . . _maybe_ Cleveland in 6, just based on the likelihood of LeBron going nuclear from the toss up.

Kudos to OKC. I can't remember a conference finals with two better teams than this year's OKC and GS. I'd hate to see Durant leave and OKC end up rebuilding next year . . . OKC is amazingly good right now and they _can_ get better, as team and as individuals.
