#1 reason is that it could help getting Durant to the Knicks.
#2 has a couple of his old assistants already on the staff.
#3 proven winner when he had all his players healthy.

is he willing to learn the triangle? lol. he ran NOTHING at okc. lol
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

ive been saying it for years, even when he was coach of the thunder. scott brooks was by far the worst coach in the nba. the guys plays coming out of timeouts in the playoffs were repeatedly atrocious. his use of timeouts, also atrocious. i know durant and westbrook both loved him, but he very clearly held that team back by being outcoached on a nightly basis. derek fisher was arguably a better coach...

I have never been impressed by Brooks. Didn't like him as Thunder coach at all. Don't think he'd be a huge upgrade from Rambis.

I thought he had a brief stint with the knicks back in the early 90'S

Yeah, he was a bench guard for like one year. So was Steve Francis and I don't want him coaching the Knicks either.
