Make sure you goto NBA.com and place your votes for our team to play in the All Star game. Hopefully this year, some of our guys will be starters! Check out how the Knicks have done so far:

NBA ALL-STAR 2002 BALLOTING EASTERN CONFERENCE

Forwards: Vince Carter (Tor) 471,255; Grant Hill (Orl) 175,356; Antoine Walker (Bos) 123,691; Shareef Abdur-Rahim (Atl) 92,796; Glenn Robinson (Mil) 50,899; Kenyon Martin (NJ) 50,499; Antonio Davis (Tor) 41,685; Keith Van Horn (NJ) 40,740; Jamal Mashburn (Cha) 26,128; Clifford Robinson (Det) 23,365.

Guards: Allen Iverson (Phi) 284,368; Michael Jordan (Was) 271,598; Tracy McGrady (Orl) 152,128; Ray Allen (Mil) 119,810; Jason Kidd (NJ) 112,287; Paul Pierce (Bos) 53,266; Latrell Sprewell (NY) 36,001; Jerry Stackhouse (Det) 28,939; Baron Davis (Cha) 23,745; Reggie Miller (Ind) 22,701.

Centers: Dikembe Mutombo (Phi) 193,537; Jermaine O'Neal (Ind) 108,094; Alonzo Mourning (Mia) 96,787; Hakeem Olajuwon (Tor) 66,211; Marcus Camby (NY) 62,936; Ben Wallace (Det) 28,232; Patrick Ewing (Orl) 22,826; Ervin Johnson (Mil) 11,656; Theo Ratliff (Atl) 10,985; Elden Campbell (Cha) 10,463.

We have to make sure that at least Spree and Camby make the teams. Allan Houston and KT are also part of the ballots. Houston is a long shot, and KT won't make it. You can only vote from your computer once a day. Let's vote at least once a day for Spree and Camby.

NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

Spree and Camby do not have much chance of starting, but I'm hopeful they'll make the squad.

Latrell should count as a forward - this is the position he plays, so why not? Then he would have a much better chance, especially as Grant Hill is now sidelined again.
We suck.

Yeah your probably right about them not starting. That's true, Spree should have been in the power forward spot. That is definetly a mistake. It's not like he switches from playing that position. He plays the forwards spot every game.

All-star voting is so ridiculous. Grant Hill is in 2nd for forwards, about Abdur-Rahim and Walker, both more deserving obviously, but even guys Kenyon Martin deserves to go more then him. What has he played, 5 games? Give me a break. Same thing @ Center, Ben Wallace should be ahead of Hakeem and Alonzo.

Remember the coaches get to pick the reserves.

We suck.

Take another look at the Eastern guards...

Allen Iverson, Michael Jordan, Tracy McGrady, Ray Allen, Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce, Latrell Sprewell, Jerry Stackhouse, Baron Davis, Reggie Miller.

Just think, 4 or 5 of these guys are gonna miss out. Kidd is the best point guard in the game, it will be a disgrace if isn't on the squad. Pierce and Stackhouse are having excellent seasons, how can they be overlooked? Hmm, it doesn't look very promising for Spree...

All the best big men may reside in the West, but the East has all the guards!
We suck.

Iverson, Jordan, McGrady will make the team no matter what. You're right it'll be hard for Spree to be picked ahead of guys like Pierce or Kidd.

I think Sprewell will definetly be a reserve and Camby has a chance, but i'm not sure how good. Houston, unfortunately, will probably miss out this year because of the power at guard in the east.

Of course I love Spree, but after watching Jason Kidd last night, he definitely deserves to go. He has such an intelligent basketball mind. He's brillant on the court. And Paul Pierce has also earned his right to be on the squad. The Celtics are playing great basketball and he's been terrific. Your right, it's going to hard for Spree to make the team. I would however pick Spree ahead of McGrady.

We should be able to get Camby on the squad though. Camby behind Alonzo Morning and Hakeem Olajuwon? No way. I say Jermaine O'Neal, Camby and then the rest of the centers in the east. If Camby plays good the next couple of weeks, he could definitely make the squad.

Who knows, maybe the allstar coach (scott?) will even play Camby at the PF spot to get a win against the western allstars.

He is one of the few players that can control a game without scoring.

If the voting was done in the form of pg,sg,sf,pf,c rather than g,f,c then Kidd would start as he is the best point guard in the game.

These guys aren't even in the top ten in terms of voting:

Andre Miller, Cavs: 35.7 mpg, 17.3 ppg, 10.9 apg, 4.6 rpg.

Sam Cassell, Bucks: 34.9 mpg, 19.0 ppg, 6.7 apg, 4.9 rpg.

Rip Hamilton, Wizards: 36.0 mpg, 20.3 ppg, 2.8 apg, 4.1 rpg.

Eddie Jones, Heat: 39.9 mpg, 18.1 ppg, 3.2 apg, 5.3 rpg.

Plus, Vince, who plays shooting guard for Toronto, counts as a forward on the ballot.

This just shows you how deep the E.C. is at the 1 and 2 spots. How does Dre miss out? The guy averages 11 assists on the CAVS, for pete's sake!
We suck.

Spree should def. be put as a forward, and they should have a separate category for PGs, because it is such a dif. position. I watched the Nets too last night, and how good is Kenyon Martin, my god, he is unbelievable. Second year in the league, yesterday went up against Garnett and sometimes a zone "D" and had 30 points, 10+boards, unbelievable, and anyone see the Nets might move to MSG? That would be horrible, they should move to Nassau Coliseum, I'd go to every game, I live like 10 min. away.

I'm praying the Nets don't move into New York or MSG just because no matter how big this city is, it's only big enough for the Knicks. No matter what happens, i'm always a Knicks fan and nothing will chance.

I wasn't saying I would become a Nets fan, sorry for being unclear. It's just, if they played at the Coliseum, tickets for nosebleed seats would be like $40 bucks, and the Coliseum is so small it'd be 20 times better then taking the train to NYC and spending $200 to see a Knicks game. I just like to see live bball, I had courtside seats last year for the Boston College vs. USC game @ Nassau Coliseum, and nosebleeders for the Knicks/Nets preseason game, and they were both just as good a view as MSG, I'd still be a Knicks fan though.
