What is everyone's take on him? It seems like signing him this season is along the lines of some of the mistakes we have made in the past, but i am still having a hard time evaluating him as a player. He had a good year statistically and seemed to stay composed despite the mess in Sac from what i can see. I am asking because i still feel like there is a good chance he lands in NY this off-season. I don't like the fact that he can't shoot and is on the wrong side of 30. But on the other hand, i can't help but be excited for all of the easy baskets he could get KP. KP didn't get easy baskets this season at all. Rondo will get him dunk after dunk. Melo will also have someone on the roster he respects playing the PG. He is better or worse than Jennings at this point? How does everyone feel about him? I'm sure it will be mixed.

Rondo is better not being a knick for 100 reasons. While Im no "Rondologist", he has a long list of personality quirks that bleeds on to the court. While some of it can have an positive effects when surrounded by very good players, Im not sure we have a strong leadership core to keep him in his place. He should be that guy. I'd take a pass.

If you are going the route of overpaying for an established or older PG in this Free Agency crop....then Conley is the choice.

Was very good years ago, but:

- He isn't that player anymore- doesn't really try on defense anymore
- We have an over inflated opinion of him because he always seemed to be able to shoot vs us
- his attitude is toxic- don't forget he bailed on the Mavs in the middle of the playoffs. That says everything
- don't be fooled by this years performance, he's on his best behaviour (and even then couldn't behave himself all season) and as decent as his stats look, hasn't really had any impact on the Kings.

I'm no fan of Brandon Jennings, but I'd rather have him than Rondo as he would be cheaper, tries harder and actually wants to be here. However I don't even want him on this team either!

Rondo would be interesting here, but I think not a great fit.

I'd rate him behind Conley, way way way behind Conley.

Also behind Jennings. I think Rondo is the far superior player, but Jennings is younger and I think would be a better fit here.

He might be third on my list. But it is not a great list for PG.

He does not deserve long term contract and will not go for short himself.
So he will never get to NY...
Knicks need to have Isiah back first as the GM, that Rondo will come along.

Rondo skills are the perfect PG for the Knicks young players to improve their talent each season

u know why Melo had success in Denver because of Iverson and Billups top skills veteranship team-leadership and experience.
Melo could not take the ball out of their hands to make teammates stand still and watch Melo the for 15 seconds on the shot clock. Melo could slow down the game every time he get tired doing that to Jennings and Conley, but never Rondo.

Iverson? That was a terrible pairing.

LOL. Well, I wasn't really being serious. I'd pass on him. His production is probably worth a little less than a league average contract but then you have to factor in his baggage. So I'd rather just pass. If he agreed to come here for the league min with it explained that he'd be coming off the bench, that would be fine but that obviously won't happen.

Was not really serious either

Overpaying rondo would be a horribly stupid move.

It's interesting Sacramento is a collection of players with awesome simple stats and bad advanced stats. And they're .400.
