Denver has the right to swap picks with us....
Toronto will get either our pick or Denver pick....
What the **** does that even mean? Do we have a 2016 pick or not?

Also after watching this tournament, I do not like this draft class. It's top heavy but not really all that.

If we did have a pick, the Knicks would pick 10th? Who would we even be looking for at #10? Nobody jumps out at me. Only kid I like at #10 is Dejounte Murray.

We don't have the pick. Toronto has our pick. Denver has the right to swap. The pick number they get depends on if Denver chooses to swap or not.

For example if our pick ends up top 3 due to lotto. And Denver gets number say 8. Denver will swap for the #3 pick and Toronto will end up with #8.

What about prospects? Who could we actually use at the bottom lottery if we kept our pick?

For what we need most, Demetrius Jackson. I actually thought before the season started that Jackson was primed to really take off and have a spectacular year (http://www.ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=52396). Didn't quite have the year I thought he would've but he still was productive and would've really given us a nice PG prospect to build around along with KP. Briggs talked about Denzel Valentine -- he'd be another guard I'd look to draft in the lower part of the lottery.

Just because we don't have a draft pick doesn't mean we can't still address this issue. I think there's still a lot of realistic choices out there to shore up the PG spot:

• Sign Jerryd Bayless -- talented young vet, shouldn't be too expensive.
• Trade for a 2nd round pick and draft Yogi Ferrell or Marcus Paige. Kay Felder's another Briggs pick we should be looking at in the 2nd round. Absolutely.
• Sign Russ Smith or Corey Walden. Walden's one of the best kept secrets out there imo. Worst case: a better player than Galloway. Best case: not quite Eric Bledsoe but something close/Jeff Teague (production wise).

I would like to get into the 2nd round and nab Gary Payton jr. He brings defense, rebounding, size and athleticism. Worth gamble as if his offense were to come around then he would be a flat out stud.

I hate that we don't have pick in this coming draft but if there is ANY year that, IMO, its ok to bypass a draft, its this one.

I watch a lot of college Basketball, and although I will admit that predicting who will succeed at the NBA level is tough, this year's "potential" draft class is pretty weak.

B.Portis, T.Jones, T.Lyles, M.Turner and Winslow would have been the TOP 5 in this years class.

agreed. not the biggest deal in the world to miss this draft

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
