I actually thought before the season started that Jackson was primed to really take off and have a spectacular year (http://www.ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=52396). Didn't quite have the year I thought he would've but he still was productive and would've really given us a nice PG prospect to build around along with KP. Briggs talked about Denzel Valentine -- he'd be another guard I'd look to draft in the lower part of the lottery. Just because we don't have a draft pick doesn't mean we can't still address this issue. I think there's still a lot of realistic choices out there to shore up the PG spot: • Sign Jerryd Bayless -- talented young vet, shouldn't be too expensive. |
