Right now were in the dog days of the NBA season which is "Garbage" time (Marv Albert voice). At this point, playoff teams know theyre in so they might sit players for rest (ie CP3 tonight vs OKC). In fact, some playoff teams might pseudo tank in order to get a better match up for the playoffs. On the other hand, bad teams know theyre out of the playoffs. So they will start shutting down their best players and even try to gain some more lottery balls by losing

the moral of the story is dont get caught up with players who have good stats out of no where. Yes, there will be some who get thier opportunity like Kirpatrick on the nets; but also theyre will be false traps like Ricky Ledo who might look good in these types of situations. I'm not saying to completely discount good performances - just take it with a grain of salt if its during this time period. If they succeded over a longer period of time (i.e Galloway)before all star break last yr; then most likely theyre legit.

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

The guy on the Knicks who fooled me a number of years ago was Mardy Collins, who I think had a strong finish on a losing team at the end of his rookie season (pretty sure it was his first year).
EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Also Earl Barron would be a double-double machine like clockwork

I thought the exact same thing when i saw this thread. Mardy was almost a walking triple double in april.

Galloway had success longer than March and April

a good example is Shved! i mean dude is STILL out of the NBA. im not sure if its lack of talent though. im not sure
