Im not sure if either Grant or Wroten are actually PG's? They may be but their wild and I dont see much basketball IQ and playmaking ability from Grant. I think he has the chance to be a good defensive player who can penetrate--a guy who could develop into a nice piece--but lead PG--Im not sure. I think he could bge the guy who takes over as one of the main guards. I think Langston Galloway is a D league special--he can play NBA basketball but hes a SG who is 6-1ish and doesnt shoot it that great. Wroten is a bigger guard--and again somewhat wild. I think the three BIGGEST things the teams needs is guys who promote better ball movement/play making better and more reliable 3 point shooting and we need an athlete who can defend the wing.

Ive studied this all year and the two BEST play makers in college basketball were Darnell Valentine and Kahlil Felder--like them both--starter back up. Best 3 points shooter--Bryn Forbes--best athlete who really impressed me in game I saw late in the year was Derrick Jones(who I think would be a lottery pick next year if he stays in school)

Id like to get Valentine--hes going to go rd 1 but I acknowledge the probability is VERY low. I think whoever drafts Felder in rd 2 gets a super steal. Hes a step in player off the bench game 1. Hes got TREMENDOUS court vision hes a great ball handler and gets where he wants to go--and would give that 2nd unit the speed we do not have. This guy is a PG but he can also score in many ways--hes pesky high energy--hes the real deal. Hes MADE for today's NBA. Forbes is what we would want out of Galloway--and I think hes got some upside. Hes an explosion waiting to happen hes a floor spacer--I think a team like the Warriors or the Spurs might try to get this player in late rd 1 to replace guards that might leave and get him on that 4 years 4mm rookie deal. Lastly a guy who I think has one of the biggest upsides of the draft who may not get draft but should is Derrick Jones. Hes a development year or two away --IF hes a hard worker from being special. Hes got great g-F length--and hes a premium rebounder defender . If his ball handling and jump shot increase--youve got intense NBA upside.

So what are we talking here well for all 4 the likely cost is a mid 1 and 3 2's---the odds of us wanting/acquiring all 4--0.I have always had the vision of using the draft to bring 2-3 guys at a time onto the team in a specific year --kind of like how the Warriors got Barnes Ezelli and Green in one year. You get guys together who are the same age and bond as brothers--you get mainly mature players--guys who have had 3-4 years experience in college
who have atleast one great specific skill that you can see transferring to the nBA to help build a team.

Im not sure that Tony Wroten is a guy that I would specifically pick out in terms of team building albeit hes is talented and BIG--which makes the risk/reward ratio reasonable. I dont mind using roster spots 14-15 where we are as developmental--its MUCH smarter than sitting Lou Admundson all year.

I still kind of dont get the reasoning to sack Svheyd over a 3rd string back up C? My guess is the Knicks will try and get a Rondo even though hes going to be 32. He would give them stability and the ball movement we dont have--but its going to cost more than they think. And will it make us really really good? no because he also comes with a non jumpshot doesnt get fouled and is 1/2 the defender he once was.

RIP Crushalot😞
