while i dont agree with some of the things BRIGGS says (latest being that Luke Babbitt is a desirable FA), he did get this right with mr. dwight powell - i believe he (and others) mentioned him a few months ago. he has developed a nice offensive game since he was drafted out of stanford. he was always a super athletic energy guy but now he has added a nice mid range jumper (he doesnt have 3pt range yet but he has the shooting form to get there someday)

i love watching dallas simply because of the commentator on the mavs. lol. but thru out the yr, ive noticed how he has developed a well rounded game. of course, hell be a restricted free agent this summer so a 24yr nice promising player will cost at least 10-12mill in the new cap

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

He won't get $10-12m this year unless someone offered him a poison pill.

I don't have a crystal ball. But that has been my constant theme. Mad teams will be offering poison pills since there's so much money to spend

Oh okay, yeah I think I would if I was Phil unless something amazing happens at the guard spot. I'd be okay with "pill" contracts to Tyler Johnson and Powell. If somehow Oladipo is stolen from Orlando then Johnson is not needed, throw the money at Crabbe.

I think an athletic big is needed to break up the slow footed under rim guys like Lopez, O'Quinn, and Hernangomez.

i hear you. i like Tyler Johnson's ability but not his health. dude is always hurt. This team needs alot of things, including an athletic big man (like Powell) but i would focus on that back court. im a fan of crabbe too

I think the Knicks would do well to target 3-4 of these young guys in FA, rather than go for older guys they'll have to overpay even more.

i agree 100% but with what money? we only have $19 mill or $34 mill if (Affalo and DWill leave). i hope we could afford 3-4 young guys but the market might overpay them

If the Knicks went 3yr $24M on Powell... it'd be risky, but would the Mavs match? They have a lot of other needs as well.

They'd probably match because the contract would look something like this, $5.7m, $6.0m, and $12.7m. I doubt that nearly $13m in his final year will scare them.
