Projected in the 40's... whats the possibility of getting an early second round pick and grabbing this guy... he's a late bloomer and kinda under the radar... even as a pick in the late 20's early 30's itd be a STEAL i think... can we buy a late pick?

I think we'll be looking to get into the draft if there's a player they really like in that range (low 1st round/2nd round). Don't think it'll be a point guard. Rookie guards rarely make an impact, let alone guards that need to learn the Triangle as well. I think where they can get the easiest help is the off guard or small forward position IE wings. They are usually an abundance of talented wings later on in the draft. If we scout and draft the right fit, I think that's where we'll want to get back in.

I agree with you if we were a piece away from being contenders but at this point even stocking up on low cost high risk/reward assets wouldn't hurt. I think this kid is gonna be real good especially once he joins an organization and his dad stays home lol. Think his dad is too hard on him.

Dreaming of a future with "The Glove" redux. It's exactly the sort of PG we need (defensive focus with elite PG skills to boot).

Not on my personal list reasons
we are committed to two PGs who dont shoot it well. I dont see GP 2 as a guy who will shoot it well in the NBA anytime soon. Hes not a great playmaker and while he is very attractive in terms of size athletic ability and defense--I think we already have that with the guys who are on the team.

If I had a pick +45(2nd rd) two players I like (unless there is a serious slip) Derrick Jones the freshmen from UNLV and Kahlill Felder--probably the BEST playmaking PG in the draft. Both are first rd talents--Jones is a guy who if he stayed in college could be a lottery pick next year.

If Boston keep their picks they'll probably sell some of their picks or pick up a 2017 pick for a 2016 2nd.

I think Grayson Allen is entriguing if his worth ethic is there.

Clarification: I meant if GP2 is a redux of "The Glove". Not saying he will be as I haven't watched him play. But the original would be ideal for this team.
