One more ring chase, this time with everyone on board. “It would be pretty cool,” James said. “I’ve definitely had thoughts about it.” Before bounding away, he smiles and closes with a coy chirp: “We’ll see.””

Is this gonna be Miami all over again? I can totally see Lebron and Wade signing with the Clippers for a discount. The Clippers could then trade us Blake Griffin and probably JJ Reddick and a pick for Melo and a filler.....it's so disgusting to think about but the Knicks would make out line bandits in that trade.

First off the Clippers are going to be dropping Jeff Green (about 11 mil) and Jamal Crawford (about 6 mill) off the books this summer. The cap is going to go up. They can afford to pay Wade and Lebron at about 12-14 mil a piece depending on if they can move other players. They can do that by trading players for second round picks.

Would that effects the Knicks is they could easily send Blake and Reddick to NY for Melo and Kyle O'Quinn....

the Knicks would have:
Blake
KP
Rolo
Reddick
Wroten (healthy and driven)

The Knicks would still have a little change left to lure another player to help strengthen that lineup....

I wouldn't mind seeing this happen, but cant see all the pieces falling in place, mainly Wade leaving Miami.

Well if Lebron is that serious he should come to NYC to play for the Knicks The one nice thing the Knicks have is a frontline of Lopez kp monroe and wills already in place. We have the size

Hey, I like your thinking, eny! Seems plausible and sets us up for the future without a damaging contract.

Blake is only 27 years old and probably in need of a change of venue after punching his best friends teeth out, so it would make total sense on the Knicks part. Ball is really in Melo's court if he wants to win with his fellow Banana Boaters.

the most Dolanist Starphikiest thing ever would be to have a broken down wade, broken down melo and post-prime Lebron on his last legs attempting to bring the knicks a title.

The thing is you are the only one saying anything about bringing Wade and Lebron to NY.

This is what I'd do with Blake as well. Parlay the goods into rebuild fodder.

I think Knicks fans have been there and done that.

But if the Clippers wanted to do it, how can we deny them the opportunity?

Do you say some of the dumbest sht some times, your more interested in having them chase that ring in some other place, rather than talk about how we can get them in NY...Are you really a knick fan, or just a melo hater

Oh man I meant Lebron to NY but if the Clippers want it I'll buy the ticket.

Probably the biggest Knick fan you'll ever know. Don't hate Melo at all.

Actually liked him in Denver. Just dislike when he wears a blue number 7 jersey.
