Willy Hernangómez has its strong future, will play at New York Knicks

Willy Hernangómez already preparing his landing in the Big Apple, the pivot of Real Madrid, which ends contract this June, it has taken the decision to move to the Big Apple, as the New York Knicks his friend Kristaps Porzingis have much interest in taking the player this summer.

Just three months is the time left to Willy Hernangómez dressed in white, and that the Madrid pivot seems to have taken the decision to abandon the discipline of Real Madrid this summer, at ending its contractual relationship with Paul Laso, and pack to cross the pond and head for the most important city in the world where you expect the New York Knicks his friend Kristaps Porzingis, Carmelo Anthony and Phil Jackson with open arms.

Selected in the last Draft at number 32 for the 76ers, his rights were traded to the Big Apple, where dream together their talent at Kristaps Porzingis, with whom he formed a magical duet in Seville for two seasons and which could have a great impact on the painting by the Latvian.

The decision is made, is that after a first offer of renewal of Real Madrid, whites have not relocated contact Willy, something that if they are doing the New York Knicks, who seem to have much interest in gain pivot next season having Real Madrid renew, something that is not lost on the young player.

Phil Jackson, legend in the best league in the world and General Manager of the New York franchise has not tired of throwing flowers on the pivot.

"I love this guy, you would compare with improved Luis Scola version" also has not denied the interest of the Big Apple to take Willy to Madison this summer, "must be a year in Spain because joined by a contract with Real Madrid, but I think we can have a solid career in the NBA, "said Phil Jackson back in the month of August.

And is that the limited role of Willy in the rotation of Pablo Laso could not be a purely professional matter, Juan Carlos Sanchez, right hand of Florentino Perez, confidant of the president of Real Madrid in the land of basketball, would influence the little particpación Willy, as we report sources very close to the player, as the eldest Hernangómez, seeing his situation, is unwilling to renew, something that did not like the president would have suggested Laso shorten the minutes Willy benefit of Lima, with which if they have next season.

At 21, Willy Hernangómez has a more than promising future ahead, last season in Sevilla averaged 10.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 12.5 valuation in 21 minutes, something that raised the interest of the NBA, by 6.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 8.5 valuation in just 13 minutes per game that have prompted the Madrid to make the decision to change air.

I like him. Looks like he could be a real nice role player for us. People are saying Scola--I see a little Enes Kanter in him as well (post offense with good moves/footwork, rebounding)...I just hope Willy's agent and Phil aren't that far off on a number. It was reported Phil lowballed Greg Monroe, whether you choose to believe that or not, and we know he lowballed Alexey Shved. Flip side too--I hope Willy doesn't come off greedy & ask for too much. I hope he understands the situation -- he was the 35th pick in the draft and should be paid accordingly. Good situation here -- Seraphin won't be back, and KOQ's not that good--there will be playing time for him. Needs to have reasonable expectations on his first NBA contract, team up with his buddy KP and get ready to get down to business, pave his own way and earn his PT.

Some might say that PJax lowballed Monroe. Others might suggest Milwaukee overpaid. Wily is a 2nd rounder. How much should we pay him?

You know I gonna spin wit it

3 years $8mm. Essentially the rookie scale deal for a low lottery-mid first rounder

He is not a low lottery talent type guy. Is there any other young Euro 2nd rd picks that received a contract worth $2.6m a yr? Jokic is getting around $1.375m.
