With the folding of ballstreams I am hoping that this site is an option. The knicks are blacked out for a sabres game tonight so I signed up for a free 3 day trial. This site does not have a roku or other streaming system app at this point. I am hoping to stream from my phone to my tv but I will switch to my computer if it doesn't work. I will post how it goes. I also didn't look that much into the cost as I was just thinking about tonight's game.

So far not impressed. Their site(or their twitter) says it takes 1/2 to an hour to process an account. I am about 3 hrs in and I am still getting a 'processing' message when I log into my account.

Three day free trial starts today for me. This site does have all games archived. I rewatched part of last nights game and the stream was great. I will test it with a live game today to see how it is.

Good to have an advanced scout looking for a decent service...although it is hard to evaluate their long term stability.

I have to admit I'm hesitant to pay for another service that might get closed down unless I have some kind of refund guarantee from them.

Maybe they should let you pay monthly so if they are forced to shut down you won't lose as much.

I frequently get spotty feeds from the free sites- Ball Streams quality was great- but I can live with it.

Might just eventually do League Pass with with the VPN service I use when downloading torrents. What is the difference in cost between this service and League Pass?

Just saw that they have a $15/Month payment option...makes it much more reasonable, IMO, even if you save money in the long term with their other payment plan...$100/season.

The archived streams work fine on my computer and are high quality but I can't get the archived streams to load on my phone. This might be a deal killer for me. Ballstreams always streamed fine on my phone whether I used data or wireless and this was for live games. Also, fees are a bit higher. I did the $59.00 for six months on ballstreams and it covered me for the season. $100.00 for the season Playoff games are broadcast on air so I generally watched games that way.

I understand finding cheaper options if you aren't as fortunate as us that live in NY, but openly purchasing illegal streaming is just plain wrong.

The Knicks are blacked out for me if I purchase league pass. Seems kind of stupid doesn't it? Also, I live in a weird geographic location for twc. I have friends 5 miles away that have msg 2 and can watch the Knicks when the Sabres play but they are blacked out for me. League pass isn't an option and I pay for cable. Finding an option so that I don't miss 1/3 of the games is something twc and league pass have forced me to do.

I purchased League Pass a many years ago and was dumb enough not to realize I wasn't going to be able to see Knicks games...the only reason I purchased the service.

I only have the internet, although I do live in NYC. If there was a way for me to stream MSG for a some money, I would do it.(Is this possible?). I'll probably get Fios TV at some point.

Seems to me that we are at a high point in terms of access to all kinds of digital media, yet I'm unable to pick and choose the shows I want in order to minimize cost.

Hardly any Mets games are available on broadcast TV, so I'm unable to see them play for the most part, also.

I'll pay to watch things online or on the Android box I recently bought if there are some apps or services I can purchase, but there seem to be few alternatives short of paying FIOS or Time Warner for overpriced packages of channels which, for the most part, I'll never watch.

The live stream is good. I think league pass and ballstreams are a little bit better. I am not able to connect and watch with my phone but I can watch on wireless with a laptop. One thing they do that is different is they don't leave the arena during a commercial break. I think that might be the same for halftime but I haven't watched a game through halftime.

Something that might be worth your time checking out. https://www.playon.tv/
I came across it when twc was not broadcasting msg during Linsanity. It gives you access to a bunch of channels that you could stream on your computer but allows you to watch them on your tv. We use their hulu channel a lot as we don't have on demand programing for our cable. Hulu is the online free version but you can watch it on your tv. They have a lot of content on playon and also have third party plug in channels. When the Sabres black out the knicks for me I watch streams using playon. They used to give you a free trial. I bought a lifetime membership several years ago for $59.00. I believe it is $39.00 now. There is a lot of information out there on it if you google it. They also are not violating any copy right laws. They just essentially sling things from your computer to your tv through a game system or media player. If it is something you end up doing I can let you know the third party plugins that I use for streaming games when the Knicks are blacked out.

I would ask your friend if they could log in to the msg app on your device to watch the games. I have a friend and a relative that uses mine.

The MSG app only works for a couple of carriers. It doesn't work for twc. I try it about once a month as the message you get when you try it is that they continue to try to add more cable providers. I have been doing this for quite awhile now. I would love a simple solution. The MSG app would be awesome if it worked.

All I want to know is how much money is someone possibly going to lose if ESPN streamed the fuhucking 98.7FM audio broadcast of the games for free? Commercials and all!
