It seems like this team over achieved in the first half of the season. The entire second half everyone's legs are shot. Nobody can pass, dribble or shoot. The backcourt can't defend anyone.

I'm not going to spaz like some of you do or like used to back on the day. I'm just deflated. We are not good. We will be though. I can see the team forming. We have the foundation. Our management is doing the best it can. Some of the guys on the roster will be here for the come up.

Right now we're in scouting mode. The tone of this forum is too wound up. Scale it down. Key on guys you wanna bring back and look around the league for guys that can help us. Get back to enjoYing the game. Our team is not quite there yet

Its tough because we have zero draft picks and we coulda really used our lotto pick. Im not confident in getting great free agents as of right now. Grant and KP are the two pieces that i want have more responsibility in their sophmore seasons

I know Amundson has been a great locker room guy and was a leader last year but maybe it is time to consider giving his roster spot to a youngster. Christian Wood has been putting up some big numbers in the dl. Jimmer, Wroten, Lawson, Bachynski, Thanasis etc., are all guys that could possibly earn a roster spot for next year and might negate the loss of a pick some. The Knicks probably wait until the offseason to make any moves other than with Jimmer's spot but there are guys out there that could be a part of the future. Also, it would be nice if Phil and Rambis focused on development with a goal of winning and not just winning. Rambis maybe in a spot where he is trying to win to become the guy next year but that may not be best at this point.

As season goes on the NBA teams get more and more organized, accustomed to the system, coaching, and getting their game together.
The quality of play going up, the competition increasing.
The half baked teams with incomplete unbalanced roster are falling off.
I think it is natural and understandable.
We get some tryouts on board but this was not working for the most part.
We have 2-3 NBA worthy wets including Melo on one leg and one promising prospect.
How anybody can expect this team to win more that 30 games is beyond me?
We have no assets for trades and no picks for the draft.
I am sure we will get another 2-3 players for 10 days contracts but most of the work will be summer time and next season.
Time to hibernate Knicks fandom.
