From the realgm wiretap

Former Nets forward Jayson Williams dodged the law when on trial for manslaughter, but now he will have to contend with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, involving an incident that occured in 2001. He allegedly used a shotgun to shoot his dog.

Williams will likely be retried later this year for manslaughter.

I remember me, Fishmike and ET (From another board) had a convo about this. Unless if you want to put them out of their misery from a bad sickness or injury, killing animals (OR anyone!) is inexcusable. That poor dog had no clue what was going on, and basically got shot for no reason. Sickening.

i agree, but its even more sick that j williams shot a human than worried more about what would happen to him than the person he shot.
