"Really, though, tonight’s game merely signified another stop on the trek down the wrong side of the mountain, this season’s peak appearing just that much farther away in the rearview mirror.

The “brain trust” isn’t giving us much reason to stay involved down the stretch, either, with nary a sign of self-awareness or acceptance that the future is the priority.

Give us 15+ minutes of the Grant/Galloway backcourt every game. Give us a consistent 15+ minutes of Kyle O’Quinn, who is signed for three more years and has shown at the very least that he has the capacity to excel on the offensive glass. Give actual NBA playing time to Jimmer, and if he’s still not NBA-caliber, give Travis Trice or another young Westchester product a shot. Show us you have a damn clue and don’t play Carmelo 37 minutes in a 27-point loss when he’s signed to the team for three more years.

Show us some spread pick and roll with Grant at the 1 and Porzingis at the 5 surrounded by Carmelo, Galloway and Thomas around the arc. Give us a reason to think that you’re willing to be open-minded about the team’s style of play.

Because major changes can’t arrive until the summer, tonight was just more of the same, and we need some motivation here."

TRUE WORDS WERE NEVER SPOKEN

The teams not that good. While we had some positive it was also littered with negative.

I made about 50 posts begging the Knicks to cut and spread calderons contract out and keep schved. The Knicks did the opposite and we are paying for it. The 22-22 was a product of a new team not scouted enough that have good effort that same team is now down atleast 15 points in 8/9 games. It's structurally flawed no guards in a guard league the best player really not a fit here hinders spreading the offense out and we have a terrible reliance on him
Many of our players are inconsistent with low iq. While we did well with Lopez Affalo oquinn and Williams have been just ok. While we got some value from lance thomas we got nothing from Lou admunson Sasha early and we left a roster spot open most of the year we are going to miss a top 5 pick because the owner is stupid and we limited trading options for Carmelo because said same owner gave him a ntc with his 25 mm there's a big disparity in age groups and that rarely works. The same mentality is here. Get some guys throw them around melo and hope to win 50. Maybe if our guards were different but I am suspecting now that's not even the case it's a cluster fck and we are one of the 3 wort teams in the league

This resonated with me.
"The “brain trust” isn’t giving us much reason to stay involved down the stretch, either, with nary a sign of self-awareness or acceptance that the future is the priority."

But this doesn't necessarily mean the yoots.
This means that management are not putting themselves in the position to make NYC an alluring market by winning. They are simply relying on the city's allure to bring in prized FAs when it should be the city as a secondary allure and the team itself as the primary.

That is the reason we got an idiot like Afflalo instead of a PG like Lowry.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree
