He was always a speedster and a pest on defense. Why did we let him go is beyond me. He looks a lot better in his third year and would benefit playing with KP and Aflalo
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

I think they just didn't like his fit. Larkin is ok but in this offense he gets stifled. It's not open enough for a guy his size. That's why Phil loves BIG guards.

Simply cut and pasted from my comment on the OP's timely and brilliant The importance of PG play thread...

Honestly...don't you get bored saying the same thing in different ways almost every day in a new thread?

I think that everyone, including Phil, knows that we need at upgrade at the lead guard position...not sure that creating at least one post a day trying to get a direct or indirect shot at Calderon (Which is where you are going in this thread...don't insult my intelligence and say otherwise, please.) is going to accomplish anything but gets folks annoyed with what comes across to me as incessant whining on your part.

Move on...we all know your position about Jose. Make some observations on particular plays he screws up in the game thread without going into your typical rant. Might be refreshing to see this kind of thing from you.

This type of thread loses all credibility when it comes from the OP, and I'm pretty sure we've had discussions on Larkin, a guy who has not been able to move into the starting PG slot on the bloody Nets, for goodness sake.

What is the point of all this?

I don't usually attack other posters, but this is getting tiring, and redundant beyond all belief.

Dude.....crop is crop..nothing else. It bothers you that I criticize Jose, well that is your problem. Get him off the rotation and you will never hear me complain ever again

couldn't agree more. I've never once used the ignore feature and i still won't but op is tiring and I'm sick of him flooding the forum with the same pointless nonsense day after day. We would all rather a different pg than jose, but the problem won't be fixed until the offseason, end of story. Op just continues to beat the dead horse and he never makes an astute or rational point while doimg so.

I am not sure if anyone here likes Jose but he wasn't even mentioned anyway???
Larkin is not the answer and I actually liked the kid. He is not a triangle pg and he basically said so.
And, what has Larkin done in Jersey? Not much at all from what I have seen.

Problem with Larkin is the same as most young players in the NBA, they can't shoot the outside shot consistently. In this league it does not matter if you shows spurts of speed. Eventually good pros play off you and you have to hit a jumper at a high percentage. The league is scattered with guys riding the bench who's fans claim they will be good and should get more plating time but just don't because of it.

I cosign this petition. Way too repetitive. Be considerate of your fellow forum members. Believe it or not your whiny posts are indeed annoying. Stick to the analysis like walt says. You have thoughts to contribute - or else you risk becoming a worse poster than Jose is on defense

If Larkin was on the team everyone would hate him just like they did when he was here

I always like the kid. He had problems making shots, but who on our current roster who has not struggled with making shots? He was a pest on defense and the marginal talents we had last season didn't help his development

This thread is about Larkin. I don't know how some of you see a criticism of Jose. He was a serviceable kid who could have played better in his second season in this system.

1969, Just go ahead and get it out of the way:

"Larkin is better than Jose"!

C'mon now son, you opened it up just a bit now commit to it. In fact, despite the obvious, I'd actually have some respect for the statement for at least you stood up owned it.

True, it may be beyond your comprehension but you also ask a question and don't digest the answers. IF its beyond you, and people tell you otherwise and you only debate, your not asking a question, your just making a statement (uber redundant)and then looking to debate it.

Don't ask a question if you are not receptive to answers.
