Exactly. No threat to penetrate causes them to play close and apply pressure. Also not setting any screens.

It's crystal clear that having guards that aren't a threat to drive is killing this team!!! It's not that you have to do it all the time BUT THE THREAT of a guard being quick enough to drive is huge. It's such a shame that Jerian doesn't have the rest of his game up to snuff cuz we could use his quickness.

Where can we find that player??

When Rambis put the 4 guard lineup on the court .. Grant should have been in the lineup to push the ball.
Calderon Afflalo n Sasha are slow ball guards that dont push the ball or drive to the basket
The Wolves young guards are learning how to push the ball faster plus drive to the basket before opponents set up defense

Another issue is our low energy. If you have starting backcourt that has no speed or athletic ability it really makes the team slow and low energy.

Jose is like Prigs. Just not a scorer mentality. We are desperate for a guard that can bring that.

Lopez on the court takes our offense n defense to its best level .. Why Fisher kept him on the bench in the 4th qtr. is a mystery.
