New York has slipped to 21st in defensive rating, but Rambis is resisting drastic rotation changes: "We're playing with things, we're thinking about things, and we're always looking at matchups. But it still comes down to the players doing the right things on the court...we gotta do a much better job of helping each other defensively -- stopping the ball, stopping penetration and moving the ball offensively."

At what point will the powers that be find the gut to try something new????

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

If you know you have an illness and know the source of the illness, but chose to continue to retain or use that source, than you have to take a good look at yourself. On defense, we all can see why our bigs continue to get in foul trouble; why not make the proper adjustment to protect our two productive bigs?

Rambis is right not to make drastic changes to the rotation. Fisher got fired in part because of the constant tinkering. Just want to see the starters close out games, Jose too if he is playing well. Too many games where some starters were playing well, and wound up watching the game being lost from the bench in the 4th quarter. Knicks need continuity more than major changes.

Fisher didn't get fired because of his rotation; as per Phil, he was insubordinate. He wouldn't heed to the advice given; and he wouldn't use the players and assistant coaches.

I thought it was because he was phuching everyone in sight?
Rambis did not say he was not making changes. Get it? His comment was generic media fodder for a feel good moment.
You react to what he says. I'll react to what he does. That will be a few games down the line.

Wasn't insubordination if Phil was only offering advice. You really think Phil would have fired Fisher if they were winning? Fisher's rotations were hamstringing the Knicks. Rambis needs to settle things down, that will help the Knicks more than big changes.
