I thought Rambis called for a lot of plays for KP in the last game. A lot of plays around the elbow which is his sweet spot right now.

KP looked like he was getting an earful (not yelled at) for what Im guessing was his lack of aggresiveness. Looked that way because when Porzingis went in the next time he was looking to score, not just from the outside. This is the kind of personal touch I like to see from coaches.

I remember when Grant was in the worst of his slump and someone asked Fisher if he had talked to Grant, offered advice, and he said no. Might have said something down the road, but what I liked was that Rambis was talking to KP and giving him advice from the jump. Dont know Rambis will do the rest of the way, but I like what I see so far.

You are saying that Rambis was coaching then? Huh.

I have wondered all year why KP does not get the looks that Jason Smith was getting all last year. The elbow jumper. KP will kill it from there.

That Elbow jumper Jason Smith got is one example and earlier they ran that Down Screen to free up KP for the short jumper but they stopped doing it for some reason. I look forward to seeing how Rambis uses KP.

I think the big issue has been a lack of focus on getting KP better looks and not just TOUCHES per se. This is why we have mentioned the type of looks KP gets. Especially in the 4th qtr. It's more about the quality of his touches than just the amount.

I think the sinus infection that he played through really messed him up. He looked much better just before the break and in the rookie game. Hopefully being over that helps some with his stamina. He looked like he had hit the rookie wall hard.

exactly. I think it was the last game where a smaller guy guarded him and he destroyed him

they need to develop a rhythm with this. And KP needs to expect it. More than anyone else on the team (and I think Melo is playing great), KP is a matchup nightmare and can punish an opponent

i felt that too often KP was more of an afterthought. Never knowing when or where to expect the ball, and the team for that matter not knowing when or where to get it to him

just sort of happened from time to time
