Those two need to be given a chance by the Knicks. I like what they can do, which is better than what we are getting fron Seraphin and Cleantony. We need a guard who has good PG instinct and can shoot the ball. At 7'2" bachynski can be the backup Rolo need. He can make shots and fundamentally sound at both ends of the court. Instead of waisting time with an undersize guy like Seraphin, bring that young dude up and let him develop
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

I like seraphin as well, but not a triangle guy. His lack of size is not really appealing to me.

We have a good pipeline in Westchester these days with a good coach too. Atkins will be a Knick one day too. And Jimmer. Wesley Saunders has a chance too if he can improve his shot.

sigh...these are NOT NBA players. but then again thats what ppl said about galloway. i dont mind giving these guys a chance...in april when the knicks are def OUT of contention
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Don't forget Atkins, too. All 3 have a chance to make our roster and contribute next season. We are doing a good job utilizing the D league this year and developing young players.

Do you guys know how many players look like NBA all stars playing in the d-league but once they get to the NBA they just can't play good against NBA talent?? The amount of players is countless. I'm all for giving any of these kids a chance if Phil thinks they might be able to give us something but the chances of them making it in the NBA is pretty slim. The kids i'd like to see are Bachynski, Jimmer and Atkins but i don't see Jimmer making it as much as i think the other two could who i also don't see much more than maybe bench pieces.

So, are you saying because it is rare, teams should never try to use the D League? For what it is worth, the Dleague is a lot better than it was two years ago. Teams have spent a lot of money and resources to strengthen it. Wasn't Whiteside a DLeaguer not too long ago????

And the fact that these guys are running the triangle and practicing in the same gym means they will be comfortable when they're called on. This is important for them in making the leap.

There are a lot of nba players that honed their craft in the dleague. Lin, danny green, Gerald green, jj barea just to name a few. Late bloomers or guys that just fell in the cracks. I think the Knicks having a dleague team is awesome. Another team that uses the dleague a lot are the rockets. They have found some rotational players from their affiliate

Bachynski looks quicker and a little stronger this year'

Perhaps the thing keeping him from an NBA team is how the game has changed in regard to having multiple players of his type on a team. Just speculating, but you would think he would have gotten a 10 day contract from someone by now given his skill set, although I don't think that many teams have roster slots open.

Also like both Trice and Atkins, who might have a better chance of fitting in with the roster we have.

Atkins seems like a more consistent and dependable player than Early or Thanasis from what I've seen, IMO, although he may not be as athletic.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Now that the buffoon is gone, it is time to let go of Seraphin and Lou to give a chance to Trice and Bachynski
