His illness did not help him, and you can see that his energy level is down. Getting sick was at this point was not a good thing, though.
Would love to see what his weight is at this point in the season.
I see the deficiency in energy on D. There have been a number of shots he would blocked earlier in the year that he has not blocked recently. I think the shot blocking gives you an idea of where he is energy-wise.
I see it on O, too. Does not move as much without the ball. Seems willing to set some picks off the ball and not force the issue. Must say, though, that there have been many moments this year where his movement has not been recognized by other players, and I believe that a realization that he is not going to get the ball when he has gotten into position to score has to dampen his energy level. He needs to be set up for some midrange Js.
Wonder if anybody monitors the time he spends on his own...wonder if he works too hard during his "free time." Just a thought.
Wish he could rest during the break. The Rising Stars event is good for the experience, but not so good for the legs and body of a tired kid who is not yet as physically mature as many (most) of the other rookies.
EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?
