Not just the last 12 games like the article says.....And not just Fisher's era but coaches in the past as well.....

thanks for the post. Interesting but disturbing. flat offense in the third followed by horrendous defense in the fourth

My reaction/ interpretation: Knicks are playing hard and intense but running out of steam late in the game, and no halftime adjustments

It's quite simple, the knicks make the worst in game adjustments in the league. there adjustment is to put their 11th and 12th man in the game with the same offense & defensive scheme that already been figured out by the opponent.

Everybody wants to blame the talent, but we have seen every player on this team play at a high level, so the potential is there. The second half of games (in particular the the 4th quarter, and crunch time) is where coaches earn their salary, our coaching staff is just lame, slow, and predictable as vanilla ice cream.

Thank you. I wonder what this team's record could be with Walton on the sideline!

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Thank you. The fourth quarters have been the story. Like the one Fisher got ejected and Rambis managed to preserve the lead. Or a number of times when Fisher sat RoLo out or put KP in 2-3 minutes too late.

I like Fisher as a leader....And I think he has the potential to be a great coach. What I don't understand is why would Phil take a risk on a rookie coach, when he's taking on one of the most visible and difficult jobs in the NBA, under the microscope of the NYC media market.

PJ hired a most personally loyal coach who would never put fire under Phil's seat if things went sour, I guess. If we mess up, one of us has to go. In this tandem it was always Fisher.
