I wouldn't touch Howard with a 10ft pole. he's proven to only be out for himself, putting team second... no thanks

Not for nothing.... Howard for Rolo makes alot of sense. Houston needs a center that can do what Rolo does. Knicks need a true scorer, athlete that can finish plays that Rolo can't when the ball is in his hands and the shot click running down.

Free throws suck and Howard is a straight bitch.... but I want to win a championship.

Howard is not a true scorer at all. He also may be one of the dumbest bigs in the league so I'm not sure how he would fit into the triangle.

Howard can consistently get buckets. That's what I mean. Calling him a scorer is inaccurate. My bad.

Just Imagine Howard in Rolo role.... Rolo is often caught having to make a move one on one. He's always in a position right in front of the rim to make a play. I think Howard cleans those up. That's enough to keep him happy. A happy Howard is deadly inside. Also Howard is just flat out better at rebounding and blocking shots.

It's an upgrade for us. It's marginal, but significant enough to clean up some of the things we do

Rolo is a glue guy while howard is the opposite. He would need to be shaq just to overcome the sh1t that he brings to a team.

I agree with that. I did say he is a straight up bitch. No getting around that. But motivated he's very good. Hadn't been motivated in a while

agree with both of you gents... but its a big risk for a not in need position. I mean Lopez has him limitations but he's a good player and good center.

Lopez is worth keeping vs 2 low 1st round picks.
We need to be patient. Lopez has shown he plays well with this team and is really solid.
The main thing we need to do next year is find a way to get more minutes for Lopez and Porzingis without each other. Either bring Lopez off the bench, or pull KP early in the 1st and bring him back towards the 2nd of the Q (Sort of like Fish had figured out a few weeks ago then abandoned it).

He's also shown clear improvement in his understanding of the Triangle and where to be in the offense. Pretty smart player vs someone like DWill or Grant or even Galloway, who can still be lost in the Triangle.

Have to be patient. KP's a rook. His post game needs work. Right now teams can play small guys on KP and get away with it because KP doesn't know how to exploit the mismatch fully. In a year, or two, the Lopez/Porzingis/Melo frontline will be lethal. Especially if we've got better guards, which I think in a year or so we should have.

Give this group some time, they've shown a lot to me. The starting 5 of Lopez/Porzingis/Melo/Afflalo/Calderon has a winning record. We need some moves for sure, but trading away starters is not one of them. We're trying to get back in the playoffs and keep improving. Not keep going backwards.

Houston announced that they're not moving howard to boston
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
