Interesting timing...
I recall that in the Boston/GS game where Boston almost ended the GS streak before the Bucks' game, Thomas was the guy who lost the game for them with some terrible play and decision making on the offensive end.
We can do this type of "exercise" with any player by the way...not sure why we would do such a thing with a guy signed until 2018.
I assume that the concept of the thread is to look at what a certain "type" of player -in this case a small PG- can do for the Knicks at this point.
Thomas has never been on a team that finished with a winning record, for what it is worth...although it looks like it will happen this year.
For all any of us know Grant may become a difference maker for us next year.
I don't mind having a smaller change of pace PG on the roster...although you always have to worry about the defensive problems associated with such players.
Not sure how Thomas would fit in with the present Knicks' team, by the way, since he seems to need the ball to be effective...not sure he gets that kind of opportunity with this team.
